Accounting Utilities

Utilities mode holds all your historical transactions and system defaults which are the rules that control your datafile. Custom tools and functions are held here for security purposes. It is important to ensure reference manuals are reviewed and backups made, prior to the use of these tools. Before some of these tools are used, the manuals recommend when SapphireOne support be contacted.

History

This allows the user to view back to original transactions, audit lines and allocation lines. The viewing of data from the sales lines on invoices is available here. Invoices entered in inventory mode can be seen. The complete history of time sheets and their time lines that were entered in Resources in Projects mode is also accessible. This data can all be sorted into any order for easy referencing. What is remarkable about SapphireOne is that this complete live data history is available without effecting the speed of the application!

Controls

The nerve centre of SapphireOne allows for the control of general settings for user access and the menus available to each user. This is where you can limit named user access down to a single screen if need be. The internal values and settings for SapphireOne are also set here, including the option of remote access allowing for the control of automatic email reporting and ecommerce functionality. This is also where the unique formatting of statements, invoices, remittances, and cheques in SapphireOne's powerful Super Reports function is controlled.
