The SapphireOne Assets module is an amazing tool for easy management of your assets. SapphireOne Assets provides you with so much more than the ability to record your capital acquisitions. Keep track of your insurance details, personal usage percentage, as well as location management and contact management. SapphireOne provides for multiple valuation methods for depreciation, including company and tax. Custom pages allow for specific details to be recorded such as text, dates and photos relating to your assets.
Most importantly, SapphireOne Assets is seamlessly integrated in the Sapphire One solution. No clunky "bolt-on" modules from third party vendors. The SapphireOne solution has all the functionality you will need in an easy to use intuitive interface.
Asset Enquiry
The SapphireOne Assets Enquiry menu is divided into four different types of functions:
“Asset Maintenance and Control,” (which has a variety of Enquiry Options such as Assets Enquiry, Passwords Enquiry, Class Enquiry, Location Enquiry and Department Enquiry),
“Contact Maintenance to Assist with Control,”
“General Ledger Maintenance” and
“Depreciation Methods and Maintenance”. Within these four function options, the user is able to locate information pertaining to any asset.
Reports
The options under Reports menu are grouped into three functions, asset control, management reports and audit trail reports.
Transaction
This area stores all changes that are made to an Asset and the creation of monthly depreciation transactions. In SapphireOne Assets, options are grouped depending on the functions they perform. These are data entry function which affect the general ledger, data entry functions which assist with asset control, reversal of disposal of an asset, viewing current transactions which are current, and finally, Posting transactions.
No matter what your organization deals in, tracking service and repair requirements for Plant and Machinery or Motor Vehicles is made simple with SapphireOne Assets. A report can be generated to assist in maintenance.
Utilities
The utilities mode forms the backbone to SapphireOne Assets. It is broken into sections covering different activities.
These sections are the history menu used to retain historical information and the controls menu providing access to security controls and system details. This is also the place to transfer Assets information to SapphireOne Financials. The utilities menu is used to access these custom functions.
